This animatic took roughly two days to finish and was a brief exercise on Toon Boom Storyboard. I drafted the two machine designs and made a short script for them to follow. I named the two LEGS and PINWHEEL with the main goal of the exercise being to present their respective personalities.
This project took eight weeks to create with the first two focused on drafting the background and character design. The remaining six weeks were spent animating the shadows and moving backgrounds. This was my first time animating multiple backgrounds alongside a walk cycle. The walk cycle movement was modeled on one provided by a class assignment.
